To all owners of this fine weapon, could you tell me which parts you have had break/fail or just wear out.I would like to upgrade mine with steel parts but only those which are known to give broblems.
Please only mention your own experience with this rifle , not repeated rumours. Thanks.

Pete.

C`mon, surely someone must have had a problem.??? O.K tell me if you HAVEN`T had any breakages then.???

Pete.

Thanks to vat69 for responding to this post. It would seem that the Marushin Garand is pretty reliable after all.??

I owned one for just under a year and never had any problems with it. I locktited mine regularly because I read all the warnings on forums, or myths, about the gun's part 45 failing.

The only thing I replaced on mine was the hop rubber because it got a little dry, but that can happen on any airsoft gun I suppose.

I ordered from here http://www.kic.com.tw/shop/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=garand and changed at first parts 45,44,42 [metal], then 54,55,19,23, bolt set and hop up. Now I have only one weak place in my Garand - spring in trigger group. I use green gas without problems.
