I`d like to know what they did to make it semi auto, how they got gas feed for blowback?, is that why the mag is bigger to hold more gas to enable this. I`m a great fan of the M1 but the bolt action put me off. :(

Not strictly ww2 (?) but a semi auto carbine all the same, which potentially could be used as an M1 with the short mags

...as if the Americans haven't got enough auto / semi auto weapons already!!

Look on the bright side though Steiner. As these are post the new .98J Japanese limit for Airsoft (and that's measured at the heady temp of 35 C IIRC) the range is going to be CRAP until some enterprising person finds a way of increasing the gas flow. Gotta remember, its 8mm as well, and a minimum of .35g BB weight.

I bet i could throw a .35 BB further than one of these things will fire it...

As long as I can huddle behind your MG42, Kermit, I don't mind! Have you ordered those 7.92mm bullet belts from SoF yet??

Salient point being M1 Carbine magazines DON'T FIT.
