The sniper Garand as far as I know wasn't finished until a couple of months before the end of the war...and also I believe the Garand Tanker was bloody useless anyway! So why would you put a sniper scope on it :?

My twopenne'th (not that anyone's asking for it) would be.... "Finish off making an accurate and quality standard Garand conversion, before moving to something else"....

I agree, I think they need to start mass producing a decent M1 Garand AEG before they make silly things that we're even very common. In fact I don't imagine there ever was a Garand Tanker with a scope on it...just seems to defeat the object.
It's a little annoying when there's so many WW2 weapons they could be making and they go for that one...

The tanker never saw service till after the war and there was 2 models solid stock(T26) and a folding butt stock(M1E5),But never seen or heard with scopes on in the 40's.

Thank you for that information, that is very clear.
With the Thompson kits then, in retrospect, we should have supplied photos and drawings with the order instead of assuming that no one would supply kits that weren't accurate! (That goes for previous Garands kits too!)
Your personal input will be a great help to all those buying kits from now on.

Yeah but sending pics with an order does feel a bit like teaching your grandmother to suck eggs...

I mean its not as though there aren't pics on the net!

Anyone making conversion kits should do their own research!

It doesn't detract from the fact that...well does anyone see a point in doing a Garand Tanker when no one has really got the normal Garand AEG sorted and what's the point in basically bringing out a WW2 weapon that was never used and totally pointless with a scope on :? Who would order that in the first place?

On another note, I didn't know you could fit a silencer to a Garand.-- attachment is not available --
