Hello!

Depends what rules and laws you have in Argentina. If rules allow it and you have the money you could buy a deactivated one and mill out the internals as you suggested.

Or you could buy a "Display Model" Bren and put airsoft internals inside.

http://www.ima-usa.com/nation/british-militaria/british-machine-guns/bren-lmg/british-bren-display-lmg-mark-1-m-mk-2-barrel.html

Or make your own like Dadio and a couple others on the forums. Using P90 and Thompson parts.

Good Luck! I wouldnt mind one! :good:

Thanks for your quick reply!

I ruled out the option of buying in IMA. Not sent outside the U.S. and the laws of my country does not allow full import weapons, even if they are disabled.

I have to choose to use small parts and make an assembly similar to Dadio.

So I thought of using a Daytona Gun engine ...

I've givven this some consideration over the years, what I'd do if I had the money would be to start with a cushmanpaintball bren copy, http://www.cushmanpaintball.com/ReplicaBren.html and as many original parts as I could. To make the reciever, either cast in a a mold using the cushman replica as a pattern, or cnc'ed from a solid peice of metal using it as a guide(@$100, its not too much money to worry about righting off it it doesnt survive, but I would hate to right off a ww2 deact at around $600 last time I looked).

You'll probably have to modify a length of pipe for the barrel, and make the regulator/gas tube from scratch, but the woodwork, sights, bipod, dust cover etc should be available on their own. Though I dont know how you'd go about this with your import rules.

Internals wise, take your pick, just use a P90 hop up and any AEG should be good.

Thanks for the recommendations. This company does not exist or has ceased operations.

In Australia there is a company that also makes http://www.replicagunsandordnanceaustra ... 1-1943.php

I think we'll have to wait for it to manufacture a replica Airsoft.

If an M240B is priced US$ 850, how much could cost a Bren??

The link works ok for me, got as far as entering details in the checkout without a hitch.

A Deactivated Bren would cost around US$600 in the UK, but then to transport it to argentina your looking at a hefty price. I'd love to own one myself, but ATM its out of the question.

That bren looks expensive, $950!!!!

and its resin... drop that and you will regret it.

Maybe buy a ZB 26 and convert it?

Pics of both to compare.
