Looks pretty good to me, if you can get a drum mag like this http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/d-boys-2000r ... 6-aeg.html it'll get rid of the 'iconic' M-16 magazine shape - thumbs up from me though ![]()
looks really effective, agree on the double snail mag to finish it off and also have support level ammo .

Give me a big enough hammer and a place to stand and I could fix the world.
i'll kill a man in a fair fight or if i think he's going to start a fair fight or over a woman or.......

Another option could be to use vietnam-style M16 mags that are shorter and attach an ammo belt to one side of the rifle. The mag type I think of is http://www.combatsportsupply.com/echo1m ... round.aspx

Looks good, for mags you could use a M249 ammo box. It will clip straight into the M4 reciever. Which you could then put into a german ammo tin.

That is a nice looking conversion, can only agree that a C-mag like the one linked to by mattywheels would really finish it off
Tiny used an AK for a similar type
heres a pic (not from a ww2 event)

same mg42 in a ww2 setting
small mag and an ammo belt to help hide the mag from veiw can help, (not may people see the mag in a firefight anyway)
