With something firing at about 150fps, you'd struggle to hit anyone more than about 10 feet away. Someone has made one out of a cheap springer shotgun that worked quite well, as it had a more healthy fps.

Also, if you did convert a two-tone to something else, it'd have to stay two-tone after you'd converted it, so it sort of defeats the object of making a ww2 gun out of it.

to be honest seeing as its a pistol http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nagant_M1895 it would mostly be a holster filler insted of an actual main weapon.
but i would be intrested to know how to make a Nagant Rifle for future reffernce
anybody have any tips on building it?
and it would officaly be my dads project but i would do most of the work

D'oh, For some reason I read 1895 as 1891, and assumed rifle.

The Nagant revolver was a weird, spindly looking thing, i used to have a deac. one. You might find that the revolver you're looking at is too 'chunky' to look right, though it's probably just cosmetic, and you could chop the plastic out and make a smaller barrel etc.
