Just seen this on Arnie's Airsoft -

ww2airsoft.ltd.uk

They seem to be doing chinese guns very cheaply for a UK dealer.

Funny thing is, the only guns they DON'T do are the WW2 ones!

To be fair to them the website seems to be still going up.

I've noticed this site, they need to rework the menu a bit but hopefully they'll sort that out (and some WW2 gear would be good).

Hmmmmm.

No land line number, no address, no names. Three things I ALWAYS look for when buying online are missing from the contact details.

Some details:

Domain name:
ww2airsoft.ltd.uk

Registrant:
WW2AIRSOFT ltd

Registrant type:
UK Limited Company, (Company number: 6295964)

Registrant's address:
UNIT 4 PINEAPPLE PLACE
123 WIDEMARSH STREET
HEREFORD
HEREFORDSHIRE
HR4 9HE
GB

Registrar:
Fasthosts Internet Ltd [Tag = FASTHOSTS]
URL: http://www.fasthosts.co.uk

Relevant dates:
Registered on: 02-Jul-2007
Renewal date: 02-Jul-2009

So, its very recent, its only been around for a month and a half. Have a look at the "links page", the top one is for Spectre, which is also based in Hereford. Possible link between the two?

If you add an item to the basket the price that shows up in the basket is more than the price next to the item, e.g. the £90 MP40 becomes £120 :?

At 33%? Perhaps it's delivery?

VAT perhaps?

Nope at 17.5% it would take it to £105.75

My point exactly; VAT doesn't explain the £120 that Pete got.

id treat that site like a big steaming dog turd, and let someone else walk in it first, wait till arnies get some feedback b4 you buy, or ask to buy direct at the counter, (even if you dont intend to), if they wont meet at a premises and deal direct , id say they were a rip off

according to the 'site news' section, they did have a stall at War & Peace, so they could well be legit, albeit with an appallingly misleading site name...

Well on a brighter side means the site may get more traffic if people google for the shop ;)

And vice verce, as we are crawled every day by search engines (one new search engine has be tramping across this forum for three days now  ) so I am removing the URL from the original post - as a direct link anyway. I don't feel particularly inclined to contribute to their traffic!

I strongly suspect its a come on, or at least a cover for someone else. I havejust placed an equirey with companys house to check the number but as most of you have said, it doesnt look good.
