Hi Nicoli, prolly best to keep the information on the SMLE to a different thread, keep the other one for the No.4 from Shoot and Scoot.

Alternatively, we just change the title of the main thread to "Guide to the Shoot n Scoot No.4 and SMLE" and include it all in one place, which I think would be better.
I've got some internal pics to add shortly and some advice on upgrading (i.e. "Don't").

what about " down grading"? i want to use my no4 without a MED and without hurting anyone , like yith at ariel and sandy at freshman...

Wouldn't a new bolt with a "smaller" spring do that?
