finally got it to a point where it looks vaguely like a sten, as opposed to a plumber's junkbox. It'll be fitted with an already-modified M14 box and hop, and strips pretty much like a real one. The battery will be a stick-type, fitted into the T-stock.
Work's been delayed by the arrival of the Motorbike combo, which i'm concentrating on at the moment, but i work on this when it's raining...

Cheers guys! I've found a solution to my 'inability to weld badly' problem. I'm going to designate and stamp it as a Canadian model from the factory in 'Long Branch'.
I've been looking at some sites, and pics, and apparently they were made to a better spec than the Brit ones, and the welds were ground down, for a start!
