finally got it to a point where it looks vaguely like a sten, as opposed to a plumber's junkbox. It'll be fitted with an already-modified M14 box and hop, and strips pretty much like a real one. The battery will be a stick-type, fitted into the T-stock.

Work's been delayed by the arrival of the Motorbike combo, which i'm concentrating on at the moment, but i work on this when it's raining...

:D

it looks way too well made! better weld it all up with you eyes shut for a more authentic look!
seriously, nice job you are doing there.

Good work Evo :)

Gotta say though, its looking like a toolroom example as the welding is *way* too good for a Sten, as uberwaller notes.

Meh, knock back half a bottle of Jack, then weld it up. Proper "bob the blob" welds then

When we were an Empire it was run by an Empress
Now we're a country we're run by a..........

hehe, i just *can't* bodge it!

I'll have to use it as an officer impression, who obviously got the pick of the armoury.

Cheers guys! I've found a solution to my 'inability to weld badly' problem. I'm going to designate and stamp it as a Canadian model from the factory in 'Long Branch'.

I've been looking at some sites, and pics, and apparently they were made to a better spec than the Brit ones, and the welds were ground down, for a start! :D
