I think this has been discussed before but, nice find to get it at RSOV. Potentially a base for a G43-alike as well.

A few of use have discussed using these as a base for an AEG SKS for Namsoft & possible late WW2 scenarios. For an SVT40 the only bit I see as usuable is the reciever but at that price its may be worth trying.
