Yeah... been there more times than I care to admit.
Same thing every time, go to local parcelfarce depot and pick her up...
Mine has just arrived today, around £270 delivered from eHobbyAsia including £53 customs. Can anyone go through adjusting the FPS in really simple terms? All this gas malarky is brand new to me!
For anyone interested Tiger111 have both the gas and Co2 mags in stock.

Hope that's of help!
Cheers
To adjust the fps:
Go to the first page of this thread for pictures.
Extract the bolt. Look on the side of the bolt near the brass nozzle for a tiny Allen grub screw. Loosen this by a turn or so.
Then insert a small, flat bladed screwdriver into the brass nozzle to locate in the end of the threaded 'nozzle'. Turn clockwise to screw in and increase fps, or anti clockwise to undo and decrease fps. You can look through the gas port to see your adjustment. You do not need to adjust by much to make a difference.
One point though. As you adjust, the slot for the screwdriver may become 'visible' in the gas port. This will allow more gas through and fps may go up even if you are turning the fps down. Simply keep trying.
Once set, re-tighten the small grub screw as this locks everything in place.
Grand! Thanks Tin, will give it a go - when you say not much, are we talking half turn? Quarter turn etc?? Ta!

I suggest 1/4 turn then test with a couple of shots.
Great stuff thanks for this, will have an experiment. One final question! Can anyone confirm the compatibility with Tanaka mags? They look like exact copies to me, but want to make sure!

i used the simpler method of fixing mine i handed over to tin
i had a Tanaka in my workshop today for me to mod it for power adjustment as per the PPS version , an easy job but it also gave me the chance to check compatibility of magazines and yes they are swappable either way , i could not try my PPS bolt in the Tanaka as he had the modified hop unit and nozzle kit fitted and the PPS nozzle is a little longer and has a bulge in it so the PPS bolt would go fully forward into the modify'd Hop (i think it's the BGS hop ?) but my guess is that with the standard Tanaka hop it would be completely compatible .

Nothing but problems with mine so far first time using it today, just putting some rounds through it indoors to try and get the FPS sorted for next week. First couple of mags no problem, then recharged as I noticed the FPS dropping by about 25fps after every shot. Refilled with gas and now it doesnt want to fire - checked the mag and it still seems to be holding gas so looking for another reason. Will fire every one shot in about 10, but not getting any gas for the other 9. Any knowledgeable chaps recommend something for me to try to see if I can get it working??
Reads as gas, but to confirm ...CO2 or Gas mags?
When you say it doesn't fire, does the mechanism 'click' when you pull the trigger?
When you fire the gun, does any gas 'vent' or escape at all?
When you load the mags into the rifle, do you do so with the bolt extracted?
Have you adjusted the hop at all?
When you adjusted the internal 'power adjustment thingy' what was the approx' FPS you were getting?
Thanks Tin,
Its erratic, just got four shots off on the trot, then nothing again:
Green Gas,
Mechanism does click,
Sometimes a bit of a hiss, sometimes nothing,
Yes with the bolt out, though maybe not everytime? Would that make a significant difference?
Turned the hop down a 1/4 turn from factory settings,
Started at about 380, finished at 180!
Thanks Tin, any help gratefully appreciated!
Matt
I am not sure what it is to be honest but:
As the gun is new, it may be something as simple as the valve in the mag sticking and not opening when fired.
Do you have a spare mag? If so does it do the same?
Release the gas from the mag and get some oil into the valve and operate the valve by hand if you can. (No gas, just operate the lever on the back of the mag. Press/release.)
On the subject of the mag lever. There is a tiny spring that lifts the lever up in its housing. Is this still there?
If missing, your mag may not function properly.
I would suggest opening the valve on the bolt to increase power while you test and bed in the gun.
As for loading with the bolt extracted. I am not 100% sure, but it looks like the bolt nozzle would be impacted by BBs when loading the magazine into the rifle. If the magazine is full of BBs, then the nozzle will be trying to compress the BBs into the mag, but with no give. The nozzle may end up being damaged or working loose.
Best practice would be to extract the bolt.
Thanks for all the tips, will look into them all and see how I get on - hopefully its just bedding in as it is firing - just a pain in the ass that its not flawless from the start!
if it's not firing then you may have lost the tiny spring out of the mag . on the back end of the mag there is a metal piece that the firing pin (hammer ) hits to release the gas, this piece should have a little spring behind and under it and pushing the metal piece upward , on two of my mag's this spring has fallen out , this allows the metal bit to drop down and wont release the gas when the firing pin hit's it .you can replace the spring with one out of a Biro or lighter so it's annoying but no big deal .you should be able to see the spring under the bottom of the metal piece on the back of the mag and feel it pushing it up .the problem is common to the Tanaka magazines as well.

I have one of these on order as well, and I'm keen to know if it's possible to "fix" the spring issue. Do you think it could be glued in?
My spring is still there, sitting quite happily at the moment! I suspect it may be a sticking valve as it does fire, just not everytime - will lubricate the moving parts and see if that makes a difference.
