Hi Nicolas, welcome to the forum,
The revolver most of the brits use, including myself, is a Tanaka S&W M10 4inch, it is very similar to the S&W victory revolver that was issued to British forces during WW2.
The only small modification required is the addition of a lanyard ring, this is easily done using a split-pin and an appropriate sized ring.
A lot of airborne troops didn't carry the revolver - the Colt m1911 was very common for those issued with a sidearm. Although it seems that everyone in Airsoft lugs a sidearm around, in reality these were few and far between for the regular soldiers.
If you really want a revolver though, go for the Tanaka that Pete suggests - the ACM alternatives are cr*p even if they do look quite good.

If you have a rifle, it's pretty much mandatory. Equally, if you're in very close quarters, it's more 'humane' than lighting up someone from a foot away, especially if there's no 'bang' rule.
Marushin have one of those cap firing models of an Enfield Mk.2 coming out soon, but no sign of an airsoft one yet.

It's not coming out soon. I've had one for about 2 years now.
h, yup. I assumed it was new cause the site had it as 'coming soon' on their list
Guess if it's been out that long without an airsoft version, we're probably unlikely to be seeing one any time soon.

Correct I'm afraid...
And the Tanaka S&W M10 is discontinued apparently, which sucks as I was looking to get one to back up my SMLE for the general look
Airsoft Armoury are showing them as in stock so grab it while you can, alternatively use a 1911 which were also issued to British troops.
Welcome Nicolas! Nice to see another enthusiastic world war 2er from the continent!
I use a colt .45 with my British impression, keep it in a '37 patt holster, so at least it's not an eyesore when you can't see it! I'm usually the Bren gunner at re-enactments with PBI, in which case I borrow on of the group leader's Revolver.
Yeah I use an m1911, just a Marui copy, but with a few spare mags it's a reliable backup, and I keep it in a .455 holster, being that the .455 was the NZ revolver of choice and obtained whenever possible.

Now THAT is a proper mans' weapon! If only Tanaka would make one.
When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!
Would be great to see you at Freshman if you can make it.
You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier
And super to have you at Cassino as well.
Hi there,
have just received the Tanaka Smit & Wesson M10 and it is super - so once I receive the 37Pat holster from Shoot n scoot and lookalike denison I'll
be ready to join your games in the UK.
Better off not to try to bring the guns into the UK. Importing realistic imitation firearms is illegal unless you're registered.

I'm also from Denmark and have also thought about joining games the in UK. I asked about the legal aspects and got an answer in the thread: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=8438
That's right Snake - its not a huge problem as long as the proper channels are gone through. Its quite a common occurrence and official procedures are in place (and unusually perhaps, the officials concerned are very cooperative!).
