anny buddy know if Marushin Scope Mount Base for Marushin Mauser Kar 98K MAXI 8mm could worck on a tanaka k98 whit some modification? just to fit a better scope on it

Yes, It is do-able. But requires substantial modifications to the stock, and the scope mounting block, plus, drilling and tapping the receiver.

Bit more to the job than that fella. The side rail has to be attached to the receiver. Not a problem on the Marushin that i'ts designed to attach to, but to fit it to the Tanaka, you'll have to fill the gaps in the back of the siderail (which is made of plastic), then drill through it, so you can bolt it to the receiver. Of course, that means you'll have to drill and tap the receiver to take the screws. Screw attaching the siderail to the receiver will have to be flush with the surface of the siderail, otherwise the scope mount wont be able to slide on and off it.
