thought i'd try one of these and see how good they are.
right this is a gas bb grenade with a time delay, pull pin throw and it should go off after a few seconds launching bb's in all directions.the reality is it completely fails in all area's out of the box.
when i pulled the pin out nothing happened at all, there is a plunger that should slowly extend from the top once the grenade is thrown and when fully out the plunger releases the gas ejecting the bb's... this failed to happen, i had to pull it out with pliers and lubricate it, now this is another problem as its the friction on the plunger that gives the timed release.after lubing it the time delay was zero so i had to work the mechanism a lot to clear the lube and get it free enough to work, to be fair there is a screw that can be tightened to increase the time delay so once the grenade has worn in it may be better but after some time it now has a delay of around 8 seconds but it's far from exact.
next was to load up the bb's to see what sort of spread it had..... not one bb left the grenade :!: .in the holes for the bb's there are three little pimples that hold the bb's in place, i found that i had to cut two pimples off each hole in order to get them to release.
now that i have it working it's not too bad, could be louder but dose give a nice 5 meter range with 0.2's more with 0.12's if you have them.
build is of dense rubber and steel and should stand some beating ,the finish is a little poor with lots of flashing(moulding lines) that need trimming off to look nice.
so for £17 was it worth it.... well if you can be bothered to fiddle with it then yes but if you are not so inclined then don't bother this is not for you.

from rsov, hell i wish it was good out of the box but its not too bad if you work on it and for £17 its ok, if it works half a dozen times its cheaper than piro and it looks the part.
