I have one, and I prefer it to my WE 1911. It doesnt look as nice and is smaller than the 1911 but IMHO its easier to skirmish with and is more accurate. Comes in a nice box too, good value for money. The Blow Back isn't as smooth though, almost sluggish, that could be just mine though, solvable with a bit of grease and stretching the return spring.
The Matt Black finish is to a good quality, I was tempted to remove and cold blue but havn't got the time, I did remove it on the ejection port cover however, just to break up the matt a tad. Thing to remember is that you have to hold the mag release button when inserting a mag, dont know why but the mag release catch catches on the only plastic bit on the mag, you get used to it though.
Thanks very much DC, that's very promising. I have read about the magazine release catch breaking the bb feed lips, but as you say easily avoided.

I had one a a out a year ago. The finish was nice but performance and the poor magazines didnt match up. I got rid in favour of a kwa one which is very solid performer. I cant compare the kwa to the WE though as i have not come accross one on the field yet

My own experience with the Tok has not been sterling - used one during a staged execution in a modern game (US vs Taliban), and the gas reservoir blew out when I had to 'execute' the captured US soldier. Had to re-shoot the whole video. We were taking fire from the rescuers at the time, so we were not impressed. (don't remember the brand either)
However, if you are looking for a Soviet sidearm for general purposes, I would strongly recommend the WinGun M1895 Nagant revolver. Runs off CO2, gives hundreds of shots on a fill (especially if you drop the FPS to UK levels), and it is an absolute DREAM to shoot. It also works in any WW2 role that you would expect a Tok in - primary weapon for an officer/commissar, factory worker's hold-out gun, a captured piece in Wehrmacht or W-SS use, etc.
