Does anyone know this rifle? Is the bolt swappable with VSR? Would it be swappable with the spring one in S&S No4?

Don't know about whether it's a straight fit, but I've looked into one recently, and it looks like it just vents a CO2 bulb (which sits in the bolt itself) through a valve, without any kind of reservoir.
That tends to mean the pressure is *incredibly* variable from shot to shot, making it useless for sniping, which is all it's good for if it's running at 500fps, as each change in pressure means different amounts of hop required, so you have no consistency whatsoever.
Understood. Thank you.

I'm currently building a VSR based Enfield No.4, and had exactly the same thought as you, but as I'm building it, it wasn't such an issue as to whether it was a direct swap with VSR internals.
After checking out how it actually works, I decided to pass, though. I don't think any of the in-cylinder storage gas bolts are any good, tbh.
Have you come across a gas rifle with the mag well placed in such a way that it would correspond to the LE4 fixed mag position?

“I wanted to come to the Volga at a specific location at a specific city. By chance it carries the name of Stalin himself. So don’t think I marched there for this reason – it could carry another name – but because there is a very important goal... this goal I wanted to take – and you know – we are very modest, we have it already."
Adolf Hitler, November 1942
"Comrades, Red Army men, commanders and political workers, men and women guerrillas! It is on your perseverance, staunchness, fighting skill and readiness to discharge your duty to the country that the defeat of the German-fascist army and the liberation of the Soviet land from the Hitlerite invaders depend! We can and must clear the Soviet land of Hitlerite vermin."
Joseph Stalin, November 1942
