Hi guys for no particulary reason Im being looking for a revolver for some time, Im being thinking in a revolver that would suit in the future my ww2 impretion "in mothern type of games they woulnd iven notice it"
in this time of all revolvers Ive seen the most I like is the Tanaka M10 M/P I think it is cuz it dont have a heavy weight barrel like the others. although has "Boris The Bullet Dodger" like to say "heavy is reliable, if it doesn't work you can always hit them with it"
ok back to the subject I maked a litle research and it said "Hermann Goering also owned a Smith and Wesson Military and Police, a Model K. It was bought before the war from a Hamburg gun dealer. He was wearing it when he was taken into custody by Seventh Army soldiers. It is currently on display at the United States Military Academy's Museum of Armaments at West Point, New York."

I have a few cuestions about it.
1). you have to cock the revolver each time to fire? I have seen this video in youtube of a guy firing some weapons and he cocks it each time.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=qqG_iPKLdYU
in this second video the guy is shoting the tanaka m10... he cocks the revolver each shot
http://youtube.com/watch?v=Wi49Ac1ZicQ
and in this one he cocks the shot hes going to make to his friend but later in the video it shots all the bbs whitout cocking it just pulling the trigger
http://youtube.com/watch?v=8jW0xbszfHw
in this third video they show the hit on his budy he was a bit far to make hurt plus he was wearing 2 t shirts that makes me asume the was using greengas and no f134a this makes me do my second cuestion
2). you could use greengas or propane whitout risk of damaging the gun? I know is a japanese gun. I have a tanaka luger played all my skirmishes whit it 1 year till I buy my mauser and it stills working I have only used dustergas, butane and in two ocations greengas but it was in cold night games and butane just didnt make the right presure. Im asking this cuz some times is hard to find the duster gas and is kind of expensive in comparation whit propane.
3). the Hermann Goering model k how diferent is whit this one? I havent found a picture of it yet dunno I could have it like a back up for my luger and say I bought it before the break of the war or papa sended me hes pistol back from munchen haha
sorry that all my posts are this long but I dont writte to much in the forum anyway and I think I have to explain a lot wet Im writing cuz I dont know if you guys are going to get my idea whit my poor english.
PS. maybe the third video could be offensive or something cuz the other guy is unarmed I think they just was showing "how powerfull was the gun" kids thing. I just linked it cuz it showed he guy pulling the trigger whitout cocking the gun and maked me ask my second cuestion feel free to remove this post if it is offensive to anyone. thanks to all who post

In answer to your question about propane, you should use a lubricating oil every few fills as there is no lubricant in propane and your seals in the mag will perish. I use propane in my pistols and my Tanaka M700 takedown but always use a silicon oil dropper in the mags.
Hope you can understand what I have written Waffman, Taffy

To answer part one of your question.... You can fire this revolver in both Single Action ( cock the hammer first, then pull the trigger) or Double Action ( just pull the trigger ,which will cock and fire the pistol).
Single action is the most accurate.
Part 2 . Yes you can use green gas or propane in this gun without harm, although I would not use them above 28 degrees centigrade as this may cause excessive pressure in the gun which may cause a seal to blow. As Taffy john says, use silicone oil for the seals every so often ( about every 10 fills of gas ).
