dont know how many they have, but a steal at £150!
From the picture and specs, they look like Cymas.
What's wrong with that? I've found the Cyma Thompson to be as good as, if not better than, the Marui ones, as well as being much cheaper.
When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!
Yep great guns worth every penny

My CYMA's never let me down ever. The barrel is stronger (& even the faux wood looks better!) than the Mauri. One of the best cloned guns in my mind - & £150 is a steal (considering there current prices due to the China 'mould-seizing' scare), especially if you can collect

Absolutely nothing wrong whatsoever. I own one myself, and use it a lot. I was merely adding information.

I agree with a few things here it has big bangs for your buck. The gun itself is strong but after about 10 shoots rear site broke, the cocking handle broke (without the blowback mod) and the fire selector switches are really poorly made. The gun vibrated a great deal. Especially the Chicago Thompson feels ok but prepare to use lock tight. My tm tommy has lasted abuse for about 2 and a half years with approx 100k rounds through it and not serviced it or changed a part.
I went to the old gass site when they first came out and some one had a good laugh as his was (at the time) 100 quid less than mine and out ranged mine too and generally being an ass about it. But I had the last laugh as his snapped in to when he fell over.

I have said this many times.
A TM Thompson is just as likely to snap in 2 if not more likely as the Chinese version has at least some attempt to make it stronger and as you say the Chinese model will always out range a TM out the box.
First time my mate and I took TM Thompson's to a game we nearly gave up, we just could not compete against the old hire guns on the site even though many of them were Chinese AK's held together with tape.
But the TM looks better and yes the cocking levers fly off on the Chinese version if you slide them back and let them flick back but that is a quick fix.
I tested a Chinese Thompson last week and was surprised to see the range was still more than my tuned TM.

I picked my tm thompson up for £50 with a snapped barrel, unfortunately the fella lost the piece that had snapped, just drilled 4 small holes and pop riveted it back on, not ideal but it does the job :/
Spring was gettin bit tired as well so just put an element piston, piston head and a m105sp spring in, then did the blowback mod on it and its been great since not bad for a total of £75! Even came with an original sling
The first thing I do with all the clone guns ave bought is strip them down, clean all the crap out of them, sort any minor problems, new metal bushes, re-shim the gear box then use thread lock on anything that would come loose, next one to do will be my mp44, due to be delivered this monday

Yep I got mine from there a while back. They're the "cybergun" branded CYMA's so I think they've been through a decent quality control. Had no problems with mine whatsoever (the mag was stuck but it was a teeny bit of rust on the axle of the winding gear, literally a 2 min fix) and if I ever do I've still got the £75 quid I saved over another seller to pay for repairs or upgrades (£100 if I'd bought a TM).

This is true whilst using a sling from my experience (having previosuly owned a snapped in two TM Tommy) but the China ones will break even when not slung. I would aslo argue that the TM fake wood kit is better than the china made, but even if you think they are on par the TM thompson has been around since 2001! So the china clones could of made a better effort in my opinion by giving it a real wood kit to compete, with having almost a decade to improve on things! (there are now plenty of boxed china guns coming with wood kits as standard most noticable the AK series)
Like i said if you have some spare cash and want to use your gun with all the correct aesthetics for more than a few Skirmishes then spend it on a TM, and slowly upgrade bits when you have the cash.
If you want a cheaper gun, with more range straight out the box and have no intention of spending anymore money on it then the CYMA is the obvious choice. Also a great choice if its only used once in a blue moon.

I use my Cyma A LOT. The only gun I've had fail on me so far was a TM MP5 (stripped gears)...
If you want to talk about having a decade to fix something: how many TM guns have steel gears as standard?

Really? I've only ever seen this occur vice-versa. The grub screw comes loose, you run with it, and snap goes the TM. The CYMA usually lasts-out a bit longer until heavily slung (Well, I've owned my second hand CYMA since late 2006, and it's been my main gun since then. Barrel is still top-notch and never loosened)
And it's not a decade to have improved it either, as the TM came out in 2001 and the CYMA first appeared in 2006, that's only half a decade

You can buy everything here, havent used before but know people that have. They use CYMA parts which according to everyones praises so far on this thread so should be fine.
or a more expenesive TM version from a well know company. (4th one down)

Hope this is what you was after
first link is perfect! will get it sorted after new year
have been to the second link before, thought it a tad expensive considering what I paid for the thompson
cheers again
The only problem I see with Cyma parts on a TM gun (or vice versa) is that the finish won't match. Cymas are painted matt black, TMs are finished to look "blued".

Ah true that, Rammix on the MP40 Thread we was talking about Casey Aluminium blacking. If you find the main material used in the barrel you can use the same method to give a blued effect on your gun.
