So it's a Savage made one then, and will date earlier than the corresponding AOC number, so you're looking June 1942, possibly even as early as late May :D Very nice to have matching numbers :good:

It's a bugger, isn't it? :evil: Mine's a pre '95, so it's just got the barrel slotted and welded, plus the bolt face chamfered. Everything else is fully working and strippable.

I remember when I could buy old specs for £150 and they had never been fired still greased up :D

The new spec pissed me off so I made my own, not great but looks ok for re-enactment and display in the jeep.

Yes, and old spec MP44s were £250 each or £450 for two! Wish I'd bought a dozen of them :|

wish I had done that with my AGM MP40! only paid £75 delivered from gunner airsoft! :slap:

Nice vids on the thompson :good: wonder if the mrs will let me build a workshop in the kitchen??? :rofl:
