The main issues with custom guns like Warren's (and others, i'm not singling him out personally!) is the lead time; he's only one bloke, and people i've known have ordered guns and had to wait months to get hold of it, something i'm far too impatient to do!

Also, as with all custom guns, they're not a 'beginner's gun', and so reliability can be an issue. Chinese guns, on the whole, tend to be bombproof, at least in my personal experience.

As far as the Viva Stens go, i'm not sure, and so haven't ordered one. £350 is a *lot* to pay for a chinese gun with unknown internals and build quality, and so i'll wait until some have arrived in the country for people to review.

ps, re to DM, ye your right mate i am slow in getting guns out, well in a way any way, i,m getting something like 2-3 orders a week and getting maybe 1-2 out per week, so the waiting time is leveling out now i,v got a helper thats fulltime, thats helped ahell of a lot,

To be honest having watched the video of the Viva Sten it looks like it is going to be a bit of a custom gun anyway. It's going to require some extra work to get it perfect. I kind of guessed that when there was talk of only 50 being made.

For me it was the lead time from Warren and the fact that the Viva is CNC'ed and hence should be more accurate/cleanly cut than he can manage by hand which made me go for the Viva. Well also the stuff about it being made from steel, which seems to have been a bit of a porky.

god knows i love ya yith but i,l have to disagree with you on how accurate my stens are,
i,m tacking castings from origial parts, so the magwell is spot on even down to the welders weld marks and stamp marks, and allso at the back sight area, not to mention i,m useing original stocks

i,v allso added more detail compaired to the older vertion that i did with the Mk5 stens,
like fake selector,s and the trigger rods,

Edit: re lead time, its not that i,m a lazy git, we,r just very very buissy, 50% of orders atm are from europe because of the strong euro atm (bleeding french)
