Hi guys, how easy is it to strip the foretitled to get at the spring so I can replace the stock m85/90 which is giving sub 230fps on .25 bb's?

I have a madbull spring m100 ready to fit.

the version 6 is a very easy box to strip , one thing to look out for when breaking the gun down is the little spring and ball parts in the selector switches as they are easily lost when you pull of the switch .if your king arms is shooting that low something is wrong ,eg a broken spring , out of the box they shoot nearer 400 fps on 0.2's , you may find that once you open it the problem is not the spring but piston seal ,either way an m100 might give well over 350 fps with 0.2g BB's , i'd expect 370/380 fps from an m100 in one of those.

It's a brand new gun and the chrono readings are very consistent(from my airgun shooting experience a broken spring or dodgy piston seal gives inconsistent readings).

The king arms ones are very efficient and usually hot out the box so I'm supprised you're getting only 230 with .25's ,I'd expect more like 350+ with .25's and more like 380 on .2's so it's a long way from normal .
