Saw this on a post on ASCUK, thought I may as well post it here.

WGC have the production run of the VFC BAR listed in their catalogue.

Just $999! ;)

Is that a V2 Gearbox with the motor just swung round? Never saw the MP40 gearbox in detail so cant comment.

Nice but pricey.

Edit : ahh "CNC Version Shown in picture for reference, Production Model may differ in appearance."

Very nice indeed. Wish someone would master a way of getting a blued steel look though rather than flat matt black as it looks moulded out of plastic.

Hmmm let me see... 1) use steel... 2) blue it.

Its been done before. Parts of my G&P M4 were blued steel.

body is die cast aluminium, I just wonder if it has the fast and slow rates of fire like the real steel or safe/semi/full ? whatever it has, I have a semi just thinking about it!

I bet they'll bring out BARDX or a better version, like they do with the AK series (usually just means a serial number and real wood parts).

ummm :? Thats the one they already released a while back...that sells for $1500+ in the US.....

This is the 'long awaited' followon piece that was supposed to be well.....cheaper

You know, like how a Porsche Cayman is cheaper than a 911.....

From what I've heard, the main diff is supposed to be that the trades on this one might not be as well done or crisp because it will be cast rather than CNC'd

Slainte!
