New photos have been recently posted on Facebook and Instagram of a GBB M1A1.
Lets hope they make spares. Otherwise there will be lots of expensive paperweights in about 2 years time.
But joking aside glad we have another WW2 weapon!
Stu
It's going to take a lot for it to even be an option versus an AEG version. Supply issues for gbb mags seems to be a problem nowadays.
Looking into my crystal ball:
It will fire 420 fps on .2s (300mm barrel so it may not push 500fps on heavier ammo!), the whole trigger group will explode before RA-Tech make a replacement set and a set of 6 spare mags will cost as much as the gun.
But it will only cost about $280usd, it will take TM go further bits and IT'S NOT AN M4!
A step in the right direction
WE have excellent parts support for the majority of their GBB offerings, so I personally wouldn't worry there. I'd wager most of these will end up in the hands of non-skirmishing collectors, so Ra-Tech may indeed hold off on steel upgrades. We shall see, but by christ this is one that has been a long time coming...
