how long did it take you in all?
ive used the stuff as well ,it takes time and practice to work up a good finish and i couldent get a good finish the proper way.i didnt dilute but used a rag just dampened with it ,if you leave any liquid onn the surface it will leave that black crusty stuff you mentioned, the rag i used was almost dry and i used a lot of elbow grease.well done by the way it looks nice
