What kind of battery does it use, and do you know anywhere to find it cheap. Thanks.

It got here last night but now the magazine release is a bit tough. There's a little bit of paint missing on the rim of the magazine which corresponds with a small chip on the inside of the gun. It's bearable but I don't want to make it worse. Anyone know a way of making

Mag release will loosen up with time... you'll also get used to the best way to use it as well.

This is getting insane now. When I slip the battery into the stock, the mound at the top stops the buttplate from fixing back. I think the raised part of the battery is stopping the top inside rim of the buttplate from moving and connecting.

You may have to remove some of the shrink wrap (or whatever) is on the battery? What type is the battery anyway?

8.4V 3300mAh SC NiMH. I know it's not the wires, they're all tucked out of the way. I can fire it but the buttplate sticks out a bit and the locking flap doesn't close properly, so it's not really practical in a fight.

I had the same problem with a 3700NimH 7 cell large type battery, I'v just got a 6 cell 7.2v instead.

Same long life of the batt but lower ROF. That actually complemenmts my style of play as I like to be conservative until the last moment.

All I did was strip the plastic cover, snip the wires to the end cell and wire the two cells that were either side of the one I took out together.

If you dont fancy that CW knows a website you can get cheep components from.

my battrys a real tight fit too.

my buttplate coloses and locks (with a lot of pushing)

but is about 1mm out to the rear when its closed.

as long as it locks your ok.

try removeing the plastic like he said.

the good thing is once its in, you wont need it out again for at least 2 game days :D maybe three

I had the same problem with a 3700, so just got a friend to remove the 4th cell. So its now 7.2 rather than 8.4, but I havent noticed any difference in performance.

Hi all, I'm new to WW2 airsofting and am looking for some advice on what gun and where best to get it from for a Brit Para outfit.

am looking to go in to sniping as I'm not half bad at it, I was thinking SMLE with scope or failing that, "finding" a KAR98K and fitting a scope, any sugestions? :D

Hi, have a look on the British section for kit recommendations. Any WWII weapon is acceptable - all sides made use of captured weapons. :)
