Found this as a potential project.
M4 22. Cal Hornet Survival Rifle

Given to aircrews, not prolific in WW2 but definitely given out, used more in Korea.
Easy project though very simple design and the collapsing stock is interesting on a rifle. It used a civilian 22. Rifle action fitted in to a basic metal frame.

i'll kill a man in a fair fight or if i think he's going to start a fair fight or over a woman or.......
a problem shared is a problem halved ,but an advantage shared is no advantage at all
if a job's not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well
Could be a good back up weapon for if an AEG conks out mid game. It's compact and useful.

Oh that is simply awesome!
I love coming across the odd bits of kit that aren't widely known about. Normally make for interesting reading!
