september, 15-16th Arnhem weekender,
this will be our next WW2 game at the hill this year,
as most of you know we have built a large village over the past few years with in the wood and added a good number of roads able to take vehicles,
we allso add two temporary bridges over the large grass strip that runs the length of the site, that also has a village area on the opposite end, this will then link the two ends of the bridge to the two urban areas we have, this part of the site will then depict arhnhem town and the rhine,
we are opening this weekend up to the following units,
German infantry of all regiments, + 1/2 track,
UK, airborne and infantry from XXX corps
US, 101st and 82nd airborne
Dutch resistance,
we,r hoping to attract some of the lads from further affield to this weekend,
we have plenty of room for camping etc to help keep down cost,s and add even more fun to the weekend,
i,m hopeing to get the humber finished for this allso,
thanks for looking

I'll have another M42 jump suit by then so you're welcome to borrow the jacket of whichever one I'm not wearing. (I'll be keeping the trousers as a spare - after my crotch ripping incident last weekend I'm making it a rule to have two pairs of jump trousers at every skirmish!) ![]()
Edited to add: I'll def be there for this.
Legend, Tom, much appreciated.

you must have been eating beens all wekend ![]()

Haha, funnily enough I was, however I think it was the leaping over a log and spreading my legs that did it. ![]()
Im up for it bud, but Im not sure if work are up for letteng me go, but sod em, I will desert for the weekend. Anyone else from down here want to go up?

I can't go up to get there without going via Australia... :p
At least its better than the middle of god forsaken wales. I visited a friend in snowdonia last year, and I had 4 changes, and all the travveling was on local branch lines so it was pretty rough.
A year befour I visited a Friend in Glasgow and I had to change three times, and most of it was on modern High speed tracks, it was actually quicker as well.

sound good mate be good to se you up here ![]()
maybe you can get a few of the others up as well,
