Well I did hear that M43 trousers were quite rarely worn anyway... mustards and leggings with M43 jacket is quite common.

I don't think they'd wear leggings with M43 trousers as they'd almost certainly have buckle boots. I don't recall seeing a photo of it. Musette packs...
