If it ain't raining, it ain't training!

Feel free to wear a poncho or similar, if it pisses it down, or even waterproofs under your choice of kit. However, part of the idea of the day is to prepare people for the possibility that it might rain for the main event as well.

I do have a half a can, Martin. Not worth an awful lot, so I'll add it to all your other freebie bits!

If anyone has an HBT cap or similar (not jeep cap) I could borrow that would be most useful.

don't think we are going to make it over for the sat night (me and Stg Stuart) so will be over first thing. On your post about arrivals on the Sunday you said we need to be at the sight by 6.45, did you mean 5.45?

No. 0645 is fine for those arriving on sunday. Those camping over need to get up and dressed , have breakfast, etc, which gives you a bit more time to get to the site.

Does anyone have a spare holster that will fit a 1911 that I could borrow? I've just bought a 1911 after getting fed up of my P38 but don't have a holster for it yet (won't fit my p38 one).

I've got one Rich. It's on a US pistol belt though. (Easy enough to wear under or over your belt kit).

Yes, I live about 20 miles away and it's bright sun and broken cloud here! I had breakfast on the patio...

I shoved it down into a spike bayonet frog. I also looped a lanyard around the belt itself, in case the knife & sheath got knocked out of the frog.
