Interesting, anyone know the film title. There was a few encounters like that in the Henry Metelmann book `Through hell for Hitler`, lots of joviality, sharing biscuits and vodka. As soon as they returned to their own lines the Russians started shooting at the Germans...sneaky beggars. 
The lighter's fine isn't it? I think Kermit has one of those.

It's an IMCO lighter which were around in WW2 but not that actual design which is a triplex super, circa 1956. they are nice lighters though.

I don't think its a film. I think its from a Russian BoB style series called Shtrafbat (Penal Batallion).

The ones with pockets are M35 tunics. Although non of them seem to have any insignia, I guess because they're a penal unit.
I did wonder... but I thought they'd not got collars... ah well... wrong again!

Just got home and had to check - its an ordinary current manufacture Triplex Super 6700 that cost a fiver IIRC.
And have just found out the ring at the top is a moveable windshield (I had no idea it moved 
) and that by firing up as normal then pulling out the entire fuel tank you have a nice broad flame to light your pipe with.
