Too early for an Excitement thread? Nah. I have to say I am coming to the boil nicely. 2 lots off kit to prepare as well as 2 lots of guns to sort out and charge batteries for. So much to do, so little time cant wait. 6/10 and growing steadily 
Excited? Maybe too strong a word for me, I'm not exactly shivering with antici.......pation. But I am looking forward to it.

Waiting for a new spring to downgrade my Thompson. Bought a new set of webbing that I can happily Blanco to my hearts content; God-daughters are helping me with that on Friday when they come to stay.

I've read there's a memorial for those that served at RAF Grafton Underwood. Are we able to access it at all at any stage?
Probably only a 3 at the mo. Still seems a long way away & I've badges to stitch & blanco to reapply. Will rise rapidly next week though!

Solid 8 now, though I was thinking how hot its going to be in BD, then I checked the weather and it seems were going to have authentic weather like June 7th 1944! 
Yeah, hard to tell on the wetness this far ahead but cloudy and 18-21 degrees suits me fine.
Well aside from a few days to do at work, I'm feeling very much ready for this weekend now. I wasn't looking forward to it being a blazing hot day either, so will be bringing ample water and also a few sugary drinks (just in case in do get dehydrated!). Roll on Saturday!
Kar 98 still stuck in customs for at least another 20 days + but have borrowed an mp 40 and dialed up the exitometer to 11!

I am now somewhat miffed. I thought Monday 4th was a bank holiday and have just spotted the small print. I have had more than enough of Scotland now.

Excitement building now, Mkii helmet painted from sand to mid bronze green, boots slavered in dubbin, fingers crossed the comando insignia I forgot turns up before the weekend. Looking forward to meeting Miss Shelton.
