Like the depth needle in "Das Boot", mine has been stuck below the lowest scale, due to stuff. However, I've started getting my kit and Y-strap levels sorted this afternoon - the needle is quivering!

I've decided to wear some kit I've not worn (or had the chance to wear) for ages: my M43 service shirt and my wonderful old HBTs!

BTW, I have a spare old pair of HBT trousers - good condition, waist up to about 35" - £10 only. Also, I have a commando Bergen - I believe it's wartime dated (not sure to determine this). I will sell at whatever you think is a reasonable price. If anyone is interested in either item, PM me.

I find it difficult to build excitement for a game these days but, I am "quietly expectant" for this, because we've jumped through some real hoops to make it happen and had to overcome a lot of adversity and negativity along the way. Bring it on!

When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!

Currently about a -12, seeing as the ulcer on the bottom of my right foot isn't clearing up with antibiotics, so it's looking like I'm going to be unlikely to even drive there, let alone take part. :x

I just about managed to get the soft top on the lightweight though, just in case it clears up just enough so I can make it. Pretty much everything's crossed at the moment.

Curse my lack of foot-healing knowledge. I wanna help you be present, but I am totally useless here.

Going to sound a bit odd but trying times and all, well have you tried warm honey? Eaten and lathered on the ulcer, I'm biased sure being a bee keeper but its massively helped with burns, blisters and sores in the past and has been used for the like for the past 4000 years or so :-D really hope it clears up for you!

Hmm... somehow I have ended up with 2 bottles of .25g BBs, which I only use for my K98 - that should last me about 10 years, I reckon. And I appear to have no .2s. Would anybody be able to swap a bottle of 0.2s for 0.25s? They supposedly good makes - Blaster and Devil-something-or-other. Danke.

As is happens I have a bottle of .20s at home and no .25s left for my rifle, I'd be happy to swap.

I've fired a bullet on every continent. Nearly hit someone, too.

Ditto. But add into that list 'An evening of changing an inaccessible starter motor on a Isuzu 1.7CDTi lump'...
Though, I may have time to try to get it done this evening *fingers crossed*

Still got the "bar humbug's" , wife's car serviced last month , MOT'd last week and the exhaust started blowing yesterday ' so i had a look and found the exhaust needs replacing and a rubberc CV boot on the drive shaft has split as well ! and i have this afternoon to do it , picked up the exhaust and it has an un-needed hole for a sensor but otherwise fit's so i thought i'd just weld up the hole and i find i've run out of gas for the mig welder ! i think i'm having a "one of those day's" . after that's done i have the rest of the afternoon to finish sorting kit but till then excitement is on hold.

Give me a big enough hammer and a place to stand and I could fix the world.
i'll kill a man in a fair fight or if i think he's going to start a fair fight or over a woman or.......

Family illness, a blown ignition module and new coil on my nan's car that needs replacing after I've taken her to the hospital, my Thompson I've managed to dismantle but can't seem to put back together again and now have a desk full of screws and the prospect in a few hours of bundling my cat in its carrying box and taking it back to Blackheath now my other half is back... which drives the cat garrity.

Stressed up to f*ck and back.

Well aside form my local running out of Wodka I am hunky dory and excitement is building. Lamb ordered form the butcher, kit sorted over the last weekend and just the car to pack this evening.

I am the minority it seems. :giggle:
