Uniform: Any pattern serge battledress (optional leather jerkin, battle jerkin, airborne smock). 3 Commando liked denim trousers for practical reasons, so if you have them that's great (useful for wool allergy sufferers too).
Head: Steel helmet (optional net or net + scrim) or green beret (bearing any cap badge) or cap comforter
Weapon: Any WW2 weapon, Sten would be iconic
Badging: none required (optional No 3 Commando shoulder flash + Combined Operations arm patch)
Load carrying: 37 pattern webbing belt, braces and pouches (optional bergan, toggle rope, small pack, large pack)

Uniform: Any pattern German Army uniform (optional splinter zelt, splinter smock)
Head: Steel helmet (optional splinter helmet cover) or army side cap or ski cap
Weapon: Any WW2 weapon, K98 and MGs iconic
Badging: none required (optional enlisted collar patches, white waffenfarbe shoulder boards)
Load carrying: belt or belt/Y-straps (optional bread bag, gas mask tin)
Boots: Jack boots or low boots (or usual lookalikes)
