Marui M1A1 Thompson with upgrade package.

Hi guys,

first a little story of why i have two Thompsons. A long time ago my friend was running through the Woods at Xsite when he tripped and fell onto his Thompson when the "dreaded barrel" snapped. He got it fixed using a similiar way used by people on the forums and also added tape to the barrel but he still wasnt keen on it. (especially as the new China "gangster version" was coming out, which he wanted more.) I offered to buy it from him just incase i needed spare parts myself. (pictue of the added tape to the barrel this could be removed and another pin / screw used to secure the barrel)

Now the upgrade. For my Thompson i brought a Hurricane M120 Tune up kit for my Thompson and had it done by the guys at Airsoft Armoury. I was really happy with the range and power but when i put it through a chrono it was doing 385 FPS! As Xsite was my regular site which only allowed a 328 FPS with a 5% variance, i had to swap my mates gearbox with my new gearbox. It wasnt too much of a problem as the range was what i was used to , and i was heading to some CQB sites like UCAP so i didnt need that sort of range or power there.

I had the cocking lever come lose during shoot on my thompson so i stole the one of my spare. Also the small screw which holds in the spring to the plate has gone walkies. So you could either have it as a "fixed" bolt or find a screw which will fit.

The Gearbox i recently thought about adapting into my thompson but i have liked all the promethus parts i have in my other guns so will probably contine to use them. How ever i still wanted to see what sort of job AA did back in the day before i knew much about airsoft guns. So opening up the gearbox it seemed ok, (if your an airsoft expert you might want to look at what they did in more detail) but when i put it back together all the gears moved fine but i realised i had put them motor on the wrong way round (as its wired to one side) I havent bothered to change this as i havent neeed to use it, but can sort this if its needed.

1x TM Thomspon (not a china clone!)
2x TM Highcaps (cleaned and working ok)
1x Sling (reproduction)
1X Lot of Original Marui Gearbox parts (all the orignal marui parts which were taken out and replaced with the hurricane set)
1x Original Box With Plunger loader and cleaning rod

Pricing this has been difficult as new TM Thomspons are going for over £250 + Plus the Hurricane Instalation + 2 TM Highcaps + Sling you would be looking at almost £350 but it does have its faults so i will start prices around £220 (including postage) i would drop it to £200 for collection.
