Reluctantly having to sell my MG42 as need some funds to put towards a new work van.

The main body is made from aluminium box sections, with wooden stock and pistol grips. Real steal parts include: flash hider, bipod, front sight (flips up and down), rear sight(flips up and down but does not slide for range adjustment), cocking/charging handle (pulls back and forward), feed tray, yugo drum(modified for bb's with flash mag).

The gun is heavy enough too feel as if your lugging around a MG but is actually much lighter than real steal.

It has a version 3 gearbox with a upgraded high torque motor and M120 spring. The hop is a top loading P90 modified for the version 3 gearbox.

As stated I have built this myself. I am no engineer but have put in many man hours to get it looking right, there is one mistake I have made on the looks but no one has noticed it yet  It certainly looks the part and usually draws many admiring glances at events. Dont expect perfection but it is a good looking functional gun.

A note on the FPS, this gun had been firing at a consistent 335-345 fps. At a recent game it stopped firing, afterwards I took out the mech box to investigate and found it was just the battery connection plug. After putting back the mechbox I checked the FPS and found it was firing way too high. I believe it might just be my cr**py chrono but would suggest that it is checked against another chrono and the spring downgraded if required. I am happy to do this for the purchaser in advance if required.

One final note, I would prefer this gun to go to someone who actually attends WW2 events and will use it, rather than it end up as a wallhanger.

Note to potential buyers of RIFs: Buyers MUST be over 18 and have a legal defence to by a realistic imitation firearm. Seller must satisfy themselves of eligibility and will require documentary evidence to support claims. This might include UKARA information, reenactment membership details, airsoft club membership details etc. Please do not waste seller's time if you cannot support your eligibility.-- attachment is not available ---- attachment is not available --
