i have a couple of thompson wood and metal conversion kits made in the philipines for converting your m1a1 military type thompson to a 1928 style tommy, atleast thats what they look like. not too sure on that but they are a basic wood and alloy kit which includes real wood stock, wood front hand grip, crap plastic hand grip where the motor is and a 2 piece alloy barrel with a seperate flash hider.
all in all its a basic kit but seems to look quite good to me. the stocks have no butt plate at all so you'll need to make something up there.
the hand grips which go over the motor oddly enough are plastic and have been machined out so much that they are brittle and cracked so they will need to be thrown away really.
the front handle is quite chunky but really good as is the 2 piece barrel and flash hider.
a basic matt black paint has been applied to the metalwork which might need to be done abit better.
i quickly put the barrel and front grip on an old plastic 2 tone tommy and it fitted fine and looked good but the wood stocks might need a little messing with to get fitted, dont expect to pop it straight on.
also both the stocks are a little different, maybe one is a 1928 style and the other is m1a1 style? not too sure.
i have never seen a kit like this for sale anywhere at all. these have come from a job lot bought by a friend.
i'll start by offering each kit at £70 plus £10 postage for uk only.
pm me if interested. i can bring a kit along to patton stalls for viewing (if any left by then).-- attachment is not available ---- attachment is not available ---- attachment is not available --

Quick question, what model of Thompson does it work for, Tokyo Marui, King Arms or is it just for any Thompson on the market?

Weapons:
King Arms M1928 Thompson Submachine Gun
AGM Sten Mk.II
CYMA M1911 EAP

the kits isnt too specific on what make of thompson it will fit as the parts are not too technical. i put some of the kit on a back yard plinker and it fitted fine. i can also see most of the kit fitting my king arms tommy too. some of the kit will need a little filing and messing with anyway. speak to mr dadio on this forum as he's king of building custom airsoft guns, his work on assembling stuff like this is first class and very cheap for the amount of time put into it.
