I finally got my Type 96 project back today, after a couple of years. My engineering skills are far better now than they were then, and I seldom play airsoft these days anyway, so i've decided to sell it:

The gun is built around an M14, no idea which make (can't remember). As a project, it's about 70% complete. The internals need finishing, as does the back end. I'm selling it as incomplete, so don't expect everything to fit together perfectly
Condition is "not good"; the project is half complete. The gearbox suffered from corrosion during its storage, and the feed mechanism has been damaged. The M14 gearbox is missing at least one part (can't remember which) and TBH may need a fair few internal parts replaced. The feed/hop up should be repairable, just needs a new bit of tube from the top to the magazine.
Included is:
~Front and rear upper receiver
~M14 gearbox/modified hop
~inner/outer barrel, front sight/gas block etc as per image
~"Real Steel" (I hate that term BTW) bipod. I think it's from a SIG assault rifle, don't know which one.
~"Real Steel" (aaarrgh) Bren rear sight.
~Aluminium lower receiver
~Steel gas tube.
~Mock-up trigger guard. The intention was to finish this and cash it in high strength resin.
~Steel low-cap Galil mag. Don't know if it works, never had a chance to test it. Magwell is from an AK so AK mags will fit as well.
~Random block that hols gearbox to upper receiver
~Spring to simulate barrel fins.
~as many relevant screws, bolts and springs as I can find.
Despite its faults, this project could make a good top-loader such as a Bren, ZB or Type96/99. While a lot of the airsoft internals parts are in a poor state, there are a few decent bits in such as the bipod and sight so i'm going to say £70 + postage, or best offer. Postage wise, i'd be quite happy for people to come and collect. In fact it makes my life easier and I can explain what needs to be done face to face.

As ever, I won't ship overseas. There are enough externals for this to be considered an RIF, so have a valid defence ready please.

£50 + postage, this is taking up valuable workshop space.

£40.00 + postage? I am happy to split parts if required.
