Packing?
The largeish essay to be handed in next Thursday and the prospect of no sleep over the early part of next week and working rather more hours than I need to allow me to actually do this is tempering my enthusiasm slightly.
Can't wait! Finally got the MP41 up together to test and it worked! Mad excited now!
I've literally got so much stuff I'm not even sure how it's all going to fit in the car!
I have been working on paring down the amount of stuff I take to events, latest casualties being my two enameled plates and a spare mug. It is still quite a pile though.
Discovered my MP40 batteries weren't where I thought they were and spent a few frantic minutes trying to find them.
Call it a 6. Would be more but it looks like I can only do Saturday now.

I'm a bit "Meh!" at the moment, due to assorted horrendous bollocks at work but, the rating should rise when I hit the ground on saturday morning and don my trusty denison. If nothing else, a mega piss up on the saturday night for Stu's 40th birthday should hit the spot nicely!

What times everyone planning to get there?
Currently a 7, peaked at 8.5 earlier this week while getting my kit ready so am now gently simmering as I have work to try and concentrate on tomorrow.
Watched A Bridge Too Far last night, The Long Days Dying this evening and will settle down to Theirs Is The Glory tomorrow.
I have a small skewer hidden in the collar of my jumping jacket, and a razorblade in my gaiter, as well as my knife.
tomorrow!? no time for watching films tomorrow. There is a war to fight and that.
oh, and me and Mindham should be getting there at about 5ish or so.

Excitement maxed out now, just a long drive with Mindham and a Star Trek quiz (I am trying to remove, by association, any 'coolness' that people might have. Most unwarranted.)
