Cool ! Although carrying a camera in occupied Holland would have nearly been a death sentence !

Good call Joe. The local photographer would have had a lively business with the occupiers - superb cover for the resistance!

Dutch Resistance please!

Adam "Reaper" Cropper (MP44)

Occupation: Not really sure. Was thinking on the lines of a barkeep, but I don't know. Any suggestions?

Nice one Adam , and welcome to our forum ! With a name like reaper then may a slaughterman or butcher would be appropriate -- ha ha "the Butcher of Arnhem" . Have athink and let us know, barkeep makes me think of Rene in Secret Army , if you're memory goes back that far .

BTW is that a Shoei MP44 ?

I think Butcher will be good! *thumb up to that idea*

And on Phoenix's own Forums, I was told that a AK would count as a MP44. I wasn't sure whether to put (MP44 = AK) when signing up.

Excellent , & yes I believe an AK will make a passable MP44 . Sound choice of weapon provided it has no modern scopes or sites etc . We've a list some where on this forum ....

Right. From looking at that, guess it's a MP40 now. Tis an AK with a folding stock.

So, the kitup is (MP40, Cleaver)

Nice one adam, welcome aboard.

Have to say the dutch resistance side is a fantastic idea for people to join the ww2 event without period kit.

Yes I was thinking we might consider incorporating our resistance workers professions into the signage for the event .....some great RPG opportunities ....

*in heavy Dutch accent*

"this was my fathers shop, and his fathers shop , and now the boche have destroyed it all , I shall take my cleaver and destroy them..." etc etc

Dont expect dead pigs hanging in windows though !!

British Stuff is on the way! :) Suprisingly cheap I might add, well..... compared to the amount I have spent on my US kit anyway.

Can I be a Sarge please, I got my upside down cheverons on the way :)

I dont have a problem with you being a sgt although you'll end up being yiths bitch all weekend as a platoon sgt!

Get more action in as a corporal!

BTW remember you only wear rank on one sleeve of the denison. (the right)

And are you sure about being a cheshire.. they were not actually there:)

You'd be better badging up as para, border, kosb or stafford.

On the eighth day god created Staffords.. and the devil was afraid.
