Ah yes, vaguely remember the film! Was that just the small Brit outfit we saw in the film or the whole of Allied forces? Regardless, you must think of the players. It will be a crap day if folk grumble that they spent the best part of the day wandering around an unfamiliar 225 acre site not knowing where the action was, and Allied command collapsing as they wern't in control. There is a possibility you could use the marshals to pull things together but they will be spread pretty thin.

Yep the radios we had didnt work well in built up lowlying areas... doh!

I could list all 20 monumentally bad tactical decisions later and we can try and incorporate them all inot the game!

Don't mind what way you go with radios lads , however echo CWs comments about not spoiling the day for the players at the expense of percieved realism .

Yup... We'll think about it carefully.

Me and Gadge didn't use radios at all at PU on Sunday and managed fine...

Thread started on Phoenix forum (I'll get it moved to the 'Event' section soon).

Forum banner has been changed and your sigs have also rolled over to the Arnhem ad (not mentioned Phoenix on it LOL).

I've now posted on ASCUK and sent a pm to Beaker asking about a full advertising banner... I've told him that its to be held at Phoenix Urban and asked if that will be a problem for him.

Can we have "comrades in arms presents" on the banner, just to help with building the brand ? Sorry if this is more work CW

I'm digging me new sig though !

By the way - well done for getting this one out and running , I appreciate the effort and am aware of how little I've helped ! Hopefully will finalise IED shortly and get second booking thread out in early Feb .

Hmm, good question! I'll work a couple up into posters and publicity cards, I'll send a couple of high res's to Kermit for AI use, use them in the web site as I start building up the Arnhem section. Other than that I daresay Gadge has plans...?

Also, maybe a quick post on the ASCUK threads and maybe just a post in the arnhem forum?

We did that with Botb and it went down quite well... but since they're your photos I didn't want to stand on your toes!

Nice pics, why do the Allies always end up capturing the Germans in these pics ? ! Could do with a couple of Yith and Gadge looking dejected and worn out under the supermans MP40s !

Who's the other german BTW ?

PS site looks good!
