Gold - in the bank is OK. In the corner where the steps are that overlook the 'church' there is a shower complex on the upper floor (over the top of 'F'). Bit of a labyrinth with one way in and out - secure location for the gold!

There are three framed paintings (plus one rolled canvas - the real 'Fallen Madonna with the Big Boobies', which I shall carry stuffed down my trousers :P ). Hotel would be one good spot - split them into two rooms. We could the third right in the small room at the back of the Butchers shop (see if he investigates his premises enough to find it - if he does it will be an easy capture for them just in case the others prove impossible to retrieve).

Also... I've read through the scenario and descriptions.. looks okay to me.

A couple of things.

- Team briefings for the afternoon game would be good.
- Gadge, can you check your scenario details against the maps and check they're okay.

I'll fire a flare/firework by mutual consent for both games

I've adjusted the timings and put everything into a single word document as a Scenario/Rules pack.

If you can check the timings then I can get some rules packs printed out.

If anyone wants to check the pack before I print it then let me know and I'll email the doc file to you.

The maps will be worked on tomorrow night... Rachel and Brendan are out all evening!

Timings
8am-9am Check In
9:15am Safety Brief
9:30am Parade & team Briefing
10.00am Deployment and ground briefings
10.35am Game On
1pm Wounded Truce (lunch)
2pm Redeploy and ground briefing
2.15pm Game On
5pm End Ex

Sure I'll write up an 'all players' 'god perspective' scenario tonight to be read out.

Obviously it wil just detail the setting, nature of the battle and *roughly* what areas will be fought for. No point in telling them al the suprises.

Read all this and looking good ,

Few Q's

1 When are we doing the supply drops , is that pm only and who's going to fill/ deploy the canisters?

2 Can we confirm Regen points for both sides /both games.

3 Can we confirm medic rules for both sides ?

4 After I see the Brits deployed in Game 1 I'll fire a large maroon to allow game one, although suspect the germanswill attack the first troopsto land, we'll keep the majorty back though . I'll also set off the two air bombs ot simulate being strafed by allied FBombers . At end ex I'll fire another maroon and same for the start and end of PM game .

5 Not sure about freezing in buildings at end ex( seems a bit gay) , we should be able to determine who held what easily enough .

6 Any subplots as a way of getting a bogged down game going again ?

Regens are marked on the maps Yith put up the other day.

Freezing has been superceeded by the turning of Allied/German markers IIRC

I don't see any reason why we have to delay the game start until Allies are deployed. After parade and out team briefings then surely we can call game on. Your (Guy) half of troops can deploy at the landing zone end of the site, Dutch can go to their shops or move about the site at will, my half of German troops can start at the bridge end, checking Dutch and buildings - in other words everyone is busy. While this is going on the Brits will be passing through the site in waves, hopefully staggered and in relays so they don't arrive at LZ en masse. Germans cannot shoot at & Dutch cannot interact with Brits as they pass through (the Brits are actually passing overhead). As soon as the first Brits arrive at the LZ then the maroon goes up to indicate angagement with enemy can begin.

In other words there will be a build up to shooting, we get a chance to do interaction with the Dutch and there is no hanging around for anyone at the start of the game (which happened at BotB)

Sounds like a plan CW...

i.e. No shooting allowed until the firework goes up when the whole of the Brits have been deployed.

That was my thought too , hence "by mutual consent" in earlier post.

I would be tempted ot signa Game on after the second glider lands, it'll be a bit gay if we all sit and watch you land, then I fire a maroon, then the Germans are allowed to attack .

Do your brefing before you get in the gliders , that'll give the Germans and DRWs time to mingle. When the gliders land you should be coming out fighting . Otherwise you might as well walk down to the LZ, breif and play from there all in plain sight of the German occupying force.........which would be gay as fuck compared to being breifed in the UK Carpark and then being comabt dropped into Holland . We'll keep the Jerries off you to establish a perimeter, then fire a maroon and game on .
Bear in mind 75% of our forces are SS and will be at the other end of the site so you'll have plenty of time to get the rest in whilst the 12 Heer have a go .

sorry... no had this argument with gadge already and I don't want to do it again. It got heated to say the least.

We're doing it his way this time.

There are good reasons.
