Be good if we can fill them.

I might have a guy up for the last DRW place if i can get him to come along.

I take it wingnut still hasnt said anything about getting in despite him being unhappy about it earlier?

They're actually already full....

Justin (shotagain) and one other guy (I forget his name right now... wayne?) were actually two bookings over the 40.

Thats just him trying to get a few germans along as a group... they've done it a few times now down south

Its not a WW2 event as such... just an open day.

BTW, Keith (Forester) was still poorly when I spoke to him last weekend. Off work still with an inner ear infection, very wobbly and unable to drive.

He will be coming (he'll slit his wrists otherwise he is so peed off) but may not be fit enough to belt around on assaults. I'll keep him as an NCO in the morning and use him and his charge for guarding, building searches etc and see how it goes.

Nice one 'assigned to light duties'

Quite litterally in the 'ear and stomach ' battalion...

Steve Ashworth should be there on Sunday as a Brit - he was one of the reserves

Dave - what weapon are you using at Arnhem ? Was planning pers on going pretty much low load, pistol, and maybe the STG44 ?

I've got one of those MP40s if you'd prefer to use that rather than yer Tommy gun . Only one mag , but might be able ot get some more from Warren on the Saturday .

I'm not planning on doing much shooting if I can avoid it .

Jay - what about yerself, will you be trogging the 42 about , or sticking with something smaller ?

Young James is using my Thompson.

I'll have my MP40 (yer, I got one with 7 mags!) BUT unless events dictate that I have to pull 'em from the front rather than push from the back I was planning on just belt, holstered P38, map pouch, water bottle and that's it! I'll also have the bread bag on a shoulder strap for pyros and bits and bats (don't want to spoil the cut of the tunic with unsightly pocket bulges  )

It would be cool if Kermit could use the MG at least at the start of the game - be fantastic at the sandbagged position overlooking the landing zone!

I'm still not sure if I can be assed getting a load of MP40 mags/proper battery yet . I've just forked out for 3 more long mags for the 44- these are working out at

OS - i'll be trudging around with either the 42 or an MP40. Depends what I can be bothered to carry. Will use it at the start of the game to give the brits something to worry about...

However, If i leave the 42 anywhere, it will be locked up in my car, I had an "incident" a few years ago with an extremely expensive SPR I built (circa
