Well, apart from the misery of packing the wet gear & canvas while skating through the mud and unpacking same, I had a jolly weekend, even sneaking around most of the morning looking for the "British HQ" to lay the comms cables because we thought the abandoned place we had found couldn't have been it. Well done to all my fellow US infantry, everyone completely entered in to the spirit of things, especially to the first timers. Yith & Dean for commanding on Sat & Sun respectively and well done to Craig for making sure the troops were fed. I'd say well done to the German commander but he seemed to spend most of this weekend captive in our camp so... no, actually, well done Sean for finding the hot coffee, and well done to your troops for battling on in the face of overwhelming manpower and materials!
Unfortuantely Boots' one hour processing machine broke down so no photos until Wednesday and who knows when I will get round to finishing the second roll....
any "towards the food and coffee" pennies would be appreciated.

More to come.
not done yet...
And we are clear.
Looks like it was a good time! Shame I had to drop out, but glad I wasn't there in the cold and rain with a torn up ankle and a bad stomach bug (authentic as though that may have been ).

Liked the washed out vintage colour look on the photo's that Django posted, so decided to try the effect on my pics. Just used the standard edit that comes with I photo. I also decided to use the touch up tool to remove the goggles. Seems to have come out ok.
I always think that the glasses/ goggles spoil the overall look.

i wasnt aware id put any washed out vintage looks on my pictures, i think its just my crap blackberry camera!
Heh, the washed out vintage look is on Ranj's (CHThree) photos. And it's because he used real film in a real vintage camera with uncoated optics.
Doh !!! I realised that as I was writing the post and I forgot to change the name having put Django by mistake.
Hey Ho !
