Will the camping be 'in-game', period tents etc?

Both sides will have a fully in game area for camping (canvas only) I know alot of the Allied players will want to set up in the Allied HQ. We will still have a social area for everyone too though;)

Oh my, I could use it to hit Germans! I hadn't even thought of that... I was just going to write them a strongly worded letter.

I got knocked out once by a huge 300 yr old bible I was playing the ghost of a dead knight and some silly arse priest jump out of their skin, to which 'I got it'. If it helps to get some idea this bible was almost A3, nearly 2 inches thick and weighed nearly 2k!

So (trying not to sound dumb), is it period only camping?

There will be a plastic camping area too bud.

ah good, looks like it will be a bit of a shorter drive. it will have to be a modern tent though. i wish i had some original stuff though.. ah well

Ill always go with period (looking) as it helps with the whole experience but at the end of the day, it has to come down to your own comfort matey.

As the new site is closer (hurrah!) I'll probably turn up Saturday morning, better than fighting down the M1 on Friday night.

You can all laugh at me as I try to put tent up in the dark on Saturday night. As there is a period camping area I'll bring my French Army tent, but bung the plastic one in as well just in case

I'm 2IC on the Brit side for this one, so anything you don't have, i can probably lend you, if Gunman don't have anything spare to lend out.

Really, all you'd need beyond what you're getting is helmet, belt, breadbag, mp40 pouches and a water bottle.
