PM received from Hstuf. Vorwärts following PM conversations with him today...

In regarding to the Bryan game:

"So, I think, that we will be with you in May. I allready start to find out, how to get there, I mean, we will then take with us our Kübelwagen or our BMW motorbike, that will be very good for the recon stuff and patrols."

Personally would prefer if he stayed in Germany ..my face still hurts from his cocks shooting me as a marshall .... :x
Can you put him off?, not sure about site insurance driving LHD vehicles off road over here ....don't know him or trust him .....IED wouldn't allow unknown drivers to drive there.....already got some (*non period) vehicles etc .

LOL not sure about site insurance driving LHD vehicles off road over here :ghey:

LOL O LOL my face still hurts from his cocks shooting me as a marshall You weren't a marshal, you were a Ruskie, what did you expect them to do

I doubt they would bring a bike all that way but it would be blummin awesome! Still, they are determined - they drove to a bash on the Ukrain border which was a 17 hour trip (and that wouldn't have been on a bike!).

Could have been a MOP for all the care they showed.

TBH I have a bit of a problem with foreign players , it's not xenophobia, just that they play with a different set of rules and are less safety concious.
At TA4 , within the first hour, we had a Norwegian trying to choke a Dane to death , the Czecks ran around with illegal home made pyro and blew up someones eardrums ...and the cheating was rife.
I wasn't overly impressed with the real Germans at the TD , I wouldn't stop 'em coming neccesarily but I'd expect them to on a short leash .

BTW are you waiting for a revised story from me for the launch of Bryan ?

Revised from the original Boris the Bastard script .

Will draft up sommit and post it in the org bit for all to persue . Will keep it vague as I still need to think through 24 hours with one camp for all . Had some ideas, but nothing that needs posting publically for the launch .

Personally, the only foreign players ive had problems with have been a couple of Italians and a couple of Frenchman. HUGELY overpowered guns (methinks they dropped a Red cylinder set into their PTW's after chrono time) and a total inability to take their hits.

Regarding getting hit as a Marshall - heloooooooooooooooooooooooooooo marshalling makes you the biggest target on the field. Every single hospital visit and steristrip self-repair ive done due to Airsoft has been as a direct result of Marshalling and running game days.

Oh, just realised. One more wound involving a hospital visit and I get to upgrade to a silver wound badge

Hehe - even I levelled a few shots at Guy (my hop was dodgy but a few struck home    )

We had pondered running an international game next year. I was just wondering how we would manage it if we don't let foreigners play 'cos they are cheaters, run hot guns and physically assault fellow players. Hang on, isn't that how you play games at IED Guy?

Sounds more like Ground Zero. Add in "run by a drug dealer who turned Queens Evidence so he didn't go down for 15 years" into it as well, and you have my local Airsoft site.....

Yes that's all true  , although I would hotly debate the cheating , IED never run with marshalls . Plus we do all know each other , and our behaviour is tempered by this and our desire for continued playing at the site. The physical assualt is by consent , and with strict controls, and only by MOD trained people on specific games. Bit like S&M sex really

I'm not saying all foreigners are cheats and numpties, just giving you the benefit of why for two hours TA4 was stopped for back in May. TBH the Czeck lads were a great bunch of people (loved my MP44 :D ) but obviously they play in a much more full on style in their own country than we do in the UK . Ian's coments to me were that in all the TA's the foreign players always gave him the biggest headaches, partly due to language .

I'm not against an international game ...let Josh run one first and see how it's goes.

Bet he's moved on to other things next year! Anyone know how his AI mag/Gunman collaboration game is going?

Haven't got a scooby doo on that, but if it involves Josh and Monaf, dont expect things to run smoothly...
