Give me a big enough hammer and a place to stand and I could fix the world.
i'll kill a man in a fair fight or if i think he's going to start a fair fight or over a woman or.......
a problem shared is a problem halved ,but an advantage shared is no advantage at all
if a job's not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well
Applied polish and boiled linseed oil to my boots - the latter on the soles, fyi. Applied Ko Cho Line and polish to my belt, and Y-straps. Also Ko Cho Line'd (is it a verb?) my tornister, since it hadn't been done for a long time, and the leatherwork on my original breadbag. Removed the Landstorm Nederland collar tab (from rifles game about 2 years ago!) and put the runes back on. Dug out the planetree smock I bought about 2 years ago, but have never yet worn! Almost ready to rock!
You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier
Its quite tempting at these games where any allied or axis uniform is permitted to use the rarely used kit ,its a pity that tropical is just wrong for the bulge .

Had a weekend of tinkering with kit and getting a couple of patches sown on. All set, just now need to decide what combination of wool, peadot and/or blurred edge to wear come Saturday! Going on the pictures from the Bulge it looks like wools and peadot was a common selection but its always good to have a choice isnt it?

Uhoh... I hope the British are bringing an umbrella or 2!
Ooooh the wind looks like shooting accurately will be fun (who am I kidding...probably more chance of hitting someone! )
A little rain never spoilt the day, adds to the realism. wet weather gear advisable, Alright for the Allies they are on the back foot and using some buildings in the woods for cover until the Germans clear them out and push them back to St Vith
Maps and brief to COs on the day, nothing to heavy
Short safety brief to all after COs brief.

How much more can you get motivated? Clear the enemy out of the building so you can be in a dry place
Matt, looks like we need some fire power to get over those bridges . Shall i bring the MG? Cheer s Lutz
That be great Lutz we also have the mortars these will have a killing area of 5metres radius.
I also have a mortar but no ammunition. Do we need another one or do you have enough mortars?
My dubbin arrived today so boots and webbing are prepped and ready .
