a few words about how the Germans will be operating during this event .
Firstly...... Command
For my sins I will be in overall command , with Kermit as my 2iC and Andy Steiner , Antony Rifleman6969 and Guy Seidler as section chiefs .
We will operate in sections led by section chiefs, who will be tasked with missions by myself and Kermit . I may also keep a few men spare as a fire brigade / HQ squad . If you came to Schaulen you will recognise this structure and know how it works .

how we run events if you haven't been before then probs best read this .
For your info there is no "script" for this event ( there never is ) and there's no stopping for lunch , nice chat about the weekend etc . We Germans have a series of defensive lines to build and hold / recapture if we loose them . Pete and Steven are wily buggers and will be looking ot outwit the German command in the same way that we are looking to nail them .
We have mortars and a lot of shells, we have at least one large truck , more vehicles if people choose to bring them . Panzergrenadiers are us 
The section Chiefs all have a large degree of real or airsoft experience, follow what they ask you to do , running off and doing your own thing will not be appreciated , as whilst you may have got a wonderful kill with your new gun 
, the rest of the side lost a vital objective because the right men were not in the right place at the right time . 
So, all you need ot bring is your gun , some food to keep you going , and a belief in the final victory .

Finally if you want to think about organising yourselves into three sections on this thread , that will save some time on the day .

PS This event is set in 1943 , technically MP44's weren't common issue . If you only have an MP44 then use it by all means , if you have an alternative then that would be better. And the more MG's (ours or captured) the better as I'd like ot have a few dug in MG nests 
PPS - Bring a zelt if you have one . If it rains it will keep you dry , if you have to take up positions on the ground you can lie on it , if we need camouflaged defences we can use them . A lot of uses for not a lot of canvas
