Andy Whymark
Paid him for pyro barrage. 6x 15g charges plus a free thingy (total £30)
He will also be preparing bandages for the event. Expected cost £6. He will be paid on delivery.
He will be coming down to Close Action on the 26th with me and Guy.
He has lent 2 books to Chomley.

Guy
Will supply prosthetic limbs to use a set dressing.
Will supply music to use in safezone as background and sound system (his landy)
Will make 2x 81mm Mortars with base plates
Will send a list of suitable road signs to Dave...
Will obtain German and US flags (49 stars? lol)
Will make suggested modifications to the scenario and then post it online for us to read.

Dave
Will prepare large map of site and a pair of boards/maps for commanders briefings
Will make Road signs... at his discretion... using Andy's book as reference and making ones that Guy says we need for the scenario... loads of these for set dressing purposes. :)
Will talk to Webby about the posibility of him and his friends actings as the MPs/commandos in the first game.
Will prepare some Minefield signs... these will be set dressing only. There will be no mines.

Richard
Prepare a selection of artillery signs with different sized writing and try these out at F&O next weekend to find the best size.
Then make the artillery signs. These to be laminated and nailed to trees.
Will pick up field telephones from LF
Will try and source some orange distress smokes
Will make some simple blue scarves for the MPs/Commandos to use.

I think thats everything!

It's about 4ft across the length, and the flag's pretty big too.

It's one polyester but as a CP flag it'll be fine. Yep.

Sadly, being a nerd, I take it to every event I go to.

I wouldn't be creating an accurate impression of a Yank if I didn't have a flag to drape over some culturally sensitive monument when occupying....sorry, liberating....a country. ;)

BTW: I'm acutely aware that I've got fuck all to sort out. Is there anything I can make/source/assist with?

Not in my book , to be honest it would be good if you could give more of a hand on the day re getting the props out etc

Anyway , for EVENT 2 we can swap the organising roles around so everyone gets to do something different .

There I go .........event 2 ..........we may not even be on talking terms by 1600 on the 17th !

Any update on the scenario yet?

With the risk of sounding like a wanker, I'm really busy from now until Chrimbo and I'd like to allocate some time to read through the scenario and get my head around it.

Worked out size of text for artillery signs.
Talked to LF about field telephones, will probably have to pick them up the week before.
Asked Semmy about orange smokes, but he's had a death in the family and hence is busy right now. Will hopefully be able to sort them when he's back...
