A while back we did discuss meeting up at F&O on an open day just to have a run through things, work out the scenario better, chat to Gucci etc . Anyone still up for this ? (I just want an excuse to wear me new kit honest)

There was mucho confusion due to Gucci being away on holiday when the people wanting the event tried to contact him. Anyway as a result they're all going to LFU instead.
Which is where I'm going. I'm still going to be in WW2 kit though.
Which means we still could do with finding a date to meet up at F&O...

We (my chindit group) were supposed to be heading up to Pickering that day for the North York Moors Railway 1940s weekend, however they've pretty much all chickened out because of the distance... they all live on the south coast. There are a few possibles still maybe coming up, but I'm not sure how they intend to do it as they don't have transport. Anyway I'll try and persuade them to go on the Sunday.
So I should be okay for the 14th Oct.

Reckon 14th is a bit of a recce , chat with Gucci etc . Real Q is are we all comingin our WWII kit ? Might be worth doing so to drum up some interest in the players there at the day

Don't know if I'll be able to play the full day , the two weekends before are 48 hour A/S events and I need to spend some time with the family , especailly as I'm organising a 4x4 event the weekend following .
Will deffo get down for 9 ish at F&O on the 14th , hopefully we can spend a hour or so together before the game takes off .

Should be able to get the Vietnam guys into it - I'd be quite happy to allow Vietnam greens and webbing for WW2 GI, doesn't look to different to HBT's anyway.

Different rules for others mate, obviously ! Plus I've never met a site owner who'd turn 20 quid down -an avaricious lot on the whole. 
No but seriously, probably won't play as need to spend some quality time at home after TA3 & IED's E&E weekend .
My plan is get there for 9 , spend hopefully an hour or so with you two going over things, may have a blat for a game or so but really have to be gone for midday .
