I get the impression he could turn around and say no. Maybe we should very seriously consider booking it into a different site, or at least get a different site as a solid back-up.
Or maybe if we tell Gucci not to bother as we're probably going elsewhere, he might realise that he could miss out on something good.

I have no idea why he has to get permission from the FC.
However, there are alternatives so other than creating a flap re-designing scenarios around a new location and getting the word out of the change I don't see it as a huge problem.
100% sure Gucci isn't pissing around, he isn't that sort of bloke.
There is always the possibility if FC say no (and there may be political crap like not playing on too many days so the wood can recover blah blah) that we ask G if we can swith to the Saturday and remove the open day status.
Whayever happens, it will go ahead somewhere between Sheffield and Leicester!
